The MidiMACS™ Separator contains a powerful permanent magnet that induces a high-gradient magnetic field within MACS
® Columns – a field strong enough to retain cells labeled with even small amounts of MACS MicroBeads.
The MidiMACS™ Separator allows the performance of cell separations in combination with LS Columns, LD Columns, or Whole Blood Columns:
. LS Columns for positive selection or depletion
. LD Columns for depletion
.Whole Blood Columns for positive selection of cells directly from whole blood
Up to three MidiMACS Separators can be attached to a MultiStand.
